Sales Office Manager

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Office manager/Commercial manager to join our Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Sales Director and working closely with the Sales Team, you will help support the company in the overall development of the Sales and Operations to achieve sales targets and profitability.

  • Working closely with the Sales Director on strategy and implementation for company sales.

  • Key role within the Leadership team with input and involvement in the development of the business.

  • Manage day to day running of the sales and estimating office, order processing and technical team.

  • Liaise between sales function and operations/manufacturing.

  • Reporting on sales activity and forecasts.

  • Identify training needs for individuals and general team development.

Qualification and skills:

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Creative thinking with a problem solving approach.

  • Previous experience in internal sales management or a similar role.

  • Previous use of a sales order processing system.

  • Experience working within a busy sales environment.

  • Self- motivated, proactive, and ambitious with high standards.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Familiarity with sales reports and sales records.

  • Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

West Port is one of the largest manufacturers of Timber Windows & Doors in the UK and we are looking for a high energy, result driven individual.

Factory Engineering Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with a qualification in engineering or proven engineering experience to work as part of a small team to assist with maintaining a range of engineering machinery and equipment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • To work as part of a small team.

  • To maintain a range of Engineering machinery and equipment.

  • To repair machinery and equipment as required.

Skills & Requirements:

  • An engineering-based Apprenticeship, qualification or period of formal training.

  • Operation and/or maintenance of a range of Engineering equipment.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work as part of team or individually.
